A vintage silver cigarette case with royal blue guilloche panel and embossed with the Navy crown. Art Deco design stepped sides decorated with diapered pattern, continuing onto reverse. Fully hallmarked inside gilt interior (both sides) for Birmingham 1940, with John William Barrett makers mark, and engraved "Jane from Frances, April 1948". Approx. 8.5 x 7cm, total weight approx. 118.4g.
Small chip to the surface of the guilloche near bottom of panel. Surface scratching throughout and small dent in silver on back.
